Swaranjali Foundation Level - Hindustani Vocal Music. September 8th
A new foundation level class starting on September 8th as part of Ranjana’s Vocal membership (Swaranjali). This class is hosted online for learners/musicians who have always wanted to learn about Hindustani music. The class will go through the foundations of Voice culture, the ten root scales (thaats), time cycles (taal) and an introduction to Ragas.
I’ll be running one class a month and one practice session a month, so you get a space to practise and develop what is learnt in the session.
Through joining this class you will become part of a like-minded community of learners where I share class recordings and suggested listening to support the learning process.
First Class - Sunday 8th September 11-12.30pm UK
