Ranjana was commissioned by the Southbank Centre to write a community and learning vocal piece for 130 singers. The piece was inspired by Sukanya - a new opera written by maestro Pandit Ravi Shankar and performed in 2017. The piece was performed by the Royal Opera House Community Choir, 4 BBC Singers and students from Avanti House School in the Royal Festival Hall Foyer for 130 singers.
